Imambara

An Imambara (also known as a Husainiyah or Ashoorkhana) is a congregation hall used primarily by Shia Muslims for Azadari (mourning rituals) during the holy month of Muharram to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain. Unlike typical Islamic structures, an Imambara is neither a mosque nor a mausoleum, but rather a dedicated community space designed for religious gatherings
